You need a free AI key

StockMate runs on Claude AI. You connect your own account — like plugging in your own electricity. It costs about 1 cent per briefing.

What's an API key?
It's a password that lets StockMate use Claude AI on your behalf. You get it free from Anthropic (the company that makes Claude). It looks like this:

sk-ant-api03-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Go to console.anthropic.com — sign up for free with your email

In the left menu, tap API Keys → then Create Key → give it any name

Copy the key that appears — it starts with sk-ant-

In Billing, add US$5 credit — that's roughly 500 briefings
